Bio
Devin Rogers is a former professional baseball player and current real estate professional based in the New Orleans Metro area.
Born in Harvey, Louisiana, Devin is the proud son of Edward and Noreen Rogers and one of four siblings.
A 1996 graduate of St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, he earned an Academic / Athletic scholarship to attend Nicholls State University, where he majored in Business Administration.
While attending Nicholls State, Devin emerged as a standout pitcher. Prior to being drafted in 1999, he was recognized as one of the nation’s top prospects after competing in one of the premier collegiate summer leagues—the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he played for the Bourne Braves. His performance there earned him both national and state recognition as one of the top amateur college players eligible for the upcoming MLB Draft.
In 1999, Devin was selected in the 8th round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Cleveland Indians, launching a professional career that spanned four organizations: the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, and Aiken Foxhounds.
After his playing days concluded, Devin returned home to New Orleans, where he married his wife, Torrie Rogers. Together, they are raising two sons, Devin (21) and Torrin (15).
Today, Devin continues to serve the Greater New Orleans community through real estate, mentorship, and coaching baseball—sharing his knowledge, experience, and leadership to help guide the next generation both on and off the field.
Best wishes on a great season Devin, we are proud of U!
