Coach Ted Marshall, recently named to the Marengo County Sports Hall of Fame, attended Sweet Water High School where he showcased his baseball talent by being a part of 4 State Championship Teams. Coach Marshall went on to pursue his baseball dreams after getting drafted by the Chicago White Sox and later being picked up by the Milwaukee Brewers. After his Professional career, Coach Marshall began coaching and developing young athletes, sharing his love of the game. In his coaching career he has won 2 High School baseball championships. He has developed and mentored several athletes that have moved on to play D1, Juco, NAIA and professional baseball. Coach Marshall brings a ton of baseball experience and knowledge to United!
